Anthony Battaini
Courage
Anthony brings extensive courageous and innovative senior leadership expertise, spanning his professional career as an organisational psychologist and management consultant, including significant advisory work for non-profit and government bodies. Anthony is an AHPRA registered psychologist and postgraduate of Monash and Canberra Universities in applied psychology and public administration respectively. As an HR professional and organisational psychologist, he specialises in assessment, selection and development of individuals and teams for mission critical roles including in civil aviation, aerospace, police and the armed forces. He inaugurated the Australian Federal Police Psychology Services Unit, Commanded Australian Army Reserve psychology in Victoria and was Senior Psychologist with what is now AirServices Australia.
Anthony’s impact has been immense in designing and delivering large-scale career management and transition, psychological assessment and development, and talent identification and pipelining solutions. He has successfully led the Asia Pacific HR advisory business of a global management consulting firm, judged the Telstra Business Awards and Telstra Business Women’s Awards for over 10 years, held Board roles for 25 years – including as Federal President the Institute of Management Consultants, and currently chairs a non-profit arts company. Anthony’s excellence in leadership innovation and his sensitivity in approach, fuels our capacity to unlock potential and breakdown barriers for a more equitable and inclusive world.
