About Foundation Nova Diem

We help people be seen through their strengths.

People facing disadvantage and neurodivergence are often described by what is wrong or missing. We are an Australian charity working to make strengths and potential a more useful starting point—for people and those supporting them.

How we do it

Lux, our assessment. Lumen, the platform behind it.

Lux is Foundation Nova Diem's strengths-first assessment, built to help people understand their own strengths, patterns and potential, in language suited to reflection rather than judgement. Lumen is the secure platform that runs Lux, connecting consent, governed scoring and the right report for the right person.

Participants receive insight written for them. Where authorised, the clinicians and educators supporting them receive a deeper technical view to use alongside their own professional judgement, never in place of it.

Honest about where the evidence stands

We claim only what the evidence supports

Lux is descriptive, not diagnostic, predictive or a personnel-selection instrument. It's moving through an active, staged evidence-development programme, and we're careful never to overstate what's currently proven.

Our history

From Project NOVI to Lux

Project NOVI is retired historical context; Lux replaced it as the current assessment work.
